Indoor Sculptures

I had an interest in working with metal as an art medium for quite a while, but my interest really took hold after I took a welding class. Since then, I have become a scrap metal hunter and am always on the lookout for interesting shapes I can incorporate into a piece.

I also really love the challenge of combining metal and wood in interesting ways and sometimes surprise myself with what happens in the workshop.

You’ll often see circles and numbers appearing in my pieces, and that’s because they’ve always held deep meaning for me.

Repurposing the ordinary.

My small sculptures are varied in size enough to suit a tabletop, shelf or mantlepiece.

Each one is a challenge to get ‘just right’ – marrying strength and stability with beauty while telling a story.

Almost everything I create is a ‘one-off’ piece. However, if you would like me to re-create something that has already been SOLD, just ask!
